BC FERRIES COMPOSITIONS | For me, the ferry ride is more than a commute. It is a moment of pause, a chance to disconnect and observe. I invite viewers to reflect on the hidden beauty and compositions that surrounds us.
INSTITUTIONAL COMPOSITIONS | I’m drawn to the stark facades, colour palettes and compositions of vacant school and institutional architecture. What are typically busy, populated spaces take on a new meaning when devoid of people, which could be perceived as unsettling or perhaps contemplative.
SPRING CLEANUP  | One day a year Delta residents are allowed to discard general garbage and household items. This creates a neighbourhood of randomly curated curb-side installations. I look to capture these unintended, temporary public art compositions that give a glimpse into the lives of the residents and their belongings; objects once new and desired now deemed disposable.
VANCOUVER CORNER STORES | During the mid 1980’s I travelled throughout the lower mainland photographing corner stores as potential subjects for my watercolour paintings. These were all shot on 35mm film which I’ve scanned and are now a nice record of what were once common amenities in most neighbourhoods.
